Russell A. Hicks
Born and raised in Chicago, IL., Russell A. Hicks is a proud graduate of Howard University’s School of Business. Russell has always been involved in sports, dance, charity fundraisers, church youth groups, and musical productions.
He also developed interests and skills in dance, sales, team building, history, politics, event planning, and of course an appreciation for fashion via his experience late in high school, throughout college, and his mother’s guidance and taste in clothing.
Upon graduating from Howard University in 2000 with a B.B.A. in Business Administration, Russell Hicks moved to Philadelphia. He landed his first career position at The Enterprise Center, a non-profit organization devoted to business development in urban communities. Starting as an intern coordinating client programs, Mr. Hicks served as financial manager and director of operations. He developed management skills in the areas of marketing, customer service, building operations, cash flow management, and business training.
Other areas of business interest are fundraising and human resources. He is blessed and fortunate to be able to help others develop their business endeavors as well as continue to develop his own business. Russell Hicks truly has a passion for making a difference in the lives of others and contributing to positive community change through cultural and business education.
Currently, Russell Hicks is the Program Manager for the Project Great Potential program at The Enterprise Center in West Philadelphia. He is also C.E.O. and Head Designer of Ebony Suns Fashions.
