Dwayne King

 

Dwayne earned an Associate’s Degree from the Community College of Allegheny County, in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania; a B.A. in Political Science from West Virginia University; and a law degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.

Upon graduating from law school, Dwayne worked at a law office in Newark, New Jersey, where he represented purchasers and sellers in residential real estate transactions and tax foreclosure cases. Dwayne also worked for the Pennsylvania Department of labor and Industry, where he specialized in Workers Compensation. Dwayne H King is currently an attorney in Philadelphia, specializing in class action litigation.


In addition to his involvement with YFS, Dwayne volunteers for the Consumer Bankruptcy
Assistance Project in Philadelphia, where he represents indigent clients in filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and Committee of Seventy, where he volunteers as an election observer on Election Day.
